That is accurate but families sometimes say they moved and did not. Schools have become experts at getting around the residency rules. There was a situation a few years back when 2 basketball players moved into a new school and were using a nail salon address. These guys were not even brothers. Some schools are manipulating the mckinney vento act to get guys in schools as well.
If a school is manipulating the McKinney-Vento Act and caught doing it, they should be banned from the playoffs.

That a govt regulation that you can't be 'caught' doing. If a parent claims it, then it is so.

It is kind of like ESL kids can't fail.

Yes, big fines for forfeiting games without a good reason such as weather illness etc.

If they feel that strongly about it why put them on the schedule anyways? Unless it's region, you don't have to play them.

Fairfield Central, Mid-Carolina and Newberry... that's half of Grey Collegiate's region games.
