Was hoping to see one of the Charlotte Teams on there, but not bad- good to get Irmo and Ridge View back on the slate. In 2018 DF only had 8 regular season games. All solid teams but DF has had tougher schedules in the past it seems. This DF team should be once again, very solid. Just have to wait and see.

I'm most excited for the Spartanburg game, I expect it will be a full house! but the Irmo game will be the best game of the season for Dutch Fork, a game that should happen every year.

Looks like a perfect season for DF to me.
Only travel out of the Columbia area 1 time to a team that has been pillaged according to some on here.
Ridge view has taken a step back the last 2 years
Then two glorified 3a teams (really 2a numbers)
White knoll lost a ton of seniors
Irmo is the toughest game on the schedule and they will be all about winning that game over any other this year.

Currently, I see a 9-0 season with I'm sure another game added once things can be worked out...

I see several very interesting games. Gray and Oceanside should be good but wins for DF. Irmo game will be very good. They should play every year. Natural rivalry and the stadium will be packed.

I believe they are trying to get one more game with one of the Charlotte/NC area teams- Weddington, Hough, Myers Park, Independence etc.

Hope that can happen and give them 10 games.

I agree, Irmo vs. Dutch Fork seems like a classic crosstown game - only 7 miles between the two schools. They used to play each other every year.

As a resident of the greater Irmo/White Rock/Ballentine megalopolis, this game is a must each year. The kids go to elementary and middle schools together, church, little league etc....and the fact that they split Irmo School to make Dutch Fork makes it all the more important. Big social event- like the Six Mile Issaqueena Festival for Dub, Stretch and 7 Time. DWD fans break out their best "Who Farted" T-shirts, and new overalls, and a clean snapback trucker hat for the festivities. Dutch Fork and Irmo are not quite that....um..."cool"...but its a good time, nonetheless.
