What about Sumter vs White Knoll? This is a rematch of last season’s 3rd round 5A Lower State playoff game.

I didn't realize that was a rematch from last years playoffs that will be an interesting match up then I think sumter will win it but it maybe late when they do

If we can throw the ball we’ll be fine. But, we have a sophomore QB who is more of a running threat right now. We have a good 1-2 punch at RB and with our QB it’s like we have 3 RBs in at one time. Defensively we got some young bucks out there at DB but we’ll be fine. Handled Lakewood last week but didn’t throw it well. If we can run the ball successfully and get it into the 4th quarter I like our chances, but we can’t get in too many passing situations right now.

So week 1 is here and there are some interesting matchups to say the least.

Gaffney travels to J L Mann for their 1st game of the season. How will the Indians handle the nerves and jitters of game 1? How does J L Mann prepare for the playmakers the Indians are bringing to town? How will Mann play after closing Ming off a 56-0 win over Midlsnd Valley.

Byrnes headed to Irmo will be interesting how does Byrnes handle their 2nd longest road trip of the season

Dutch Fork vs Spartanburg this is a match up to see just how good the Vikings are in my opinion. Yes the Vikings went on the road last week to D3 south and got a win over the stallions and that is impressive because it was their 1st opening week win since 2018. I think Dutch fork will roll into sparkle city and be a different test for the Vikings

Rock hill vs south pointe will be interesting to see just how do both teams bounce back after losses in week 0

Summerville South Florence could get interesting south Florence went down to the wire with cross town rival west Florence. How does Summerville react to having to play a full game this week after the incident last week

What are some of the other match ups yall are looking forward too this week not just 5A but from s as lol of the classifications

Myrtle Beach has West Florence at home this week. I don’t see MB winning this game considering they nearly got beat by Lake City.

I think Summerville vs SF will be interesting. Loris is the best team in Horry County right now. That Loris vs Dillon game later on is going to be a good one.

They saying Loris is best in Horry Co this year, Marlboro/Clinton N.C also in the region with Dillon is going to be 3 team Battle..
I never count out Myrtle Beach but the Qb looked young in the highlights I saw

Loris is not the Loris of years ago. That coach has built from the weight room out. They have a defensive end 6’3” 305 pounds that gets up and down like a running back.
I saw them in a scrimmage few weeks ago.

Myrtle Beach will struggle this year but I expect if we get into the playoffs by then we could surprise some people.
