I'll go ahead and pay my respect to Beaufort. I know Fort D has been really good over the years and they only lost by seven in a game that some Beaufort fans think they should have won.

The key for me is has Greenwood looked good against teams they were supposed to look good against. The answer is yes. They looked good against Emerald and Crescent. They were competitive enough against Gaffney even though It appeared that Gaffney won the scrimmage.

Beaufort isn't emerald or crescent by any means however I'm expecting Greenwood to have a good showing from what I've seen so far. One thing is for damn sure, Greenwood is improved from the past two years. I'm just enjoying that honestly. Hopefully it'll translate into wins. We'll see!

I know Greenwood fans have been down on the Eagles for the last handful of years and it is rightfully deserved at times but I don't think they can be down on them this year. I think Liner is finally getting the buy in from the players and its starting to show. They looked really good against Gaffney during the scrimmage they have a very athletic QB and the running back is a stud as well. I wish I would've known some of the Eagle fans were goin to Gaffney I would've loved to have met and talked with yall some. I'll take Greenwood to win 35-17

This HUGE MATCH-UP is tomorrow night!!!! I can't wait!!!! I am so pumped up for this game!!!! It should be a great game. I hope to see a huge crowd at this game.

In order for Beaufort to win this game over Greenwood, The Eagles will have to cut out the turnovers and penalties. Those Interceptions and that phantom pass interference penalty cost Beaufort last week against Fort Dorchester. Beaufort dominated that game and should have came out with the win. But Beaufort needs to put that loss behind them and hopefully will play a great game this week. I would love to see Beaufort QB Samari Bonds have a huge game this week running and throwing the football. I hope to see Beaufort use the RB more this week. I think Greenwood's Defense will have a hard time stopping Beaufort WR Amare Patterson and The Eagle's Offense.

Beaufort's "D" will have to stop Greenwood's RB'S from getting big gains and to also put some pressure on the QB. Greenwood has looked pretty good in the highlights that I have seen of them. But I think that Beaufort has the edge in this game. If Beaufort doesn't turn the ball over than I think My Eagles will finally get a win over Greenwood.

This Greenwood team has looked good in preseason. Has lots of speed and strength and are very physical. It has traditionally been known as I school that likes to run. But this preseason the biggest surprise has been the passing game. The defense is very fast and physical also. I say tight game early, but I believe Greenwood becomes too much in the second half.

Gaffney is loaded with D1 talent. That was a good showing for Greenwood regardless. The Emerald team they blitzed gave Abbeville fits the following week. Yes I know they're 1A. But everybody knows Abbeville can play. Lol.

That part. Some people might get mad for me saying this but sometimes I feel like we lowkey be dodging Abbeville lol. I understand why we don't play them in the regular season because the points are back. I'm talking about when the playoff format was just based off region standings. Water under the bridge now but Greenwood can't lose to a 1A school because that might get you fired lol. The team we have this year wouldn't lose to them but some of those teams where we didn't have such a successful season...well lol...... We may have still won due to depth issues but you can at least have a conversation about it.

I remember my freshman year Greenwood had just won back-to-back state championships and the preseason had us ranked number one in the entire state. number one in the whole state now..... we played Abbeville week two and only won 22 -6 lol Anyways...... I digress.
