Loris Defense is a Joke
Watching Loris play against a bad NMB team and the Loris defense is terrible. The coaches should be embarrassed. It’s like the players have never heard a snap count before. Have jumped off sides about 10 times on one drive alone. Can’t tackle when they do manage to stay on sides. Marlboro and Dillon are going to smoke Loris in 3A. Their runningbacks will run all over the Loris defense. For all the hype around Loris, they look like they don’t have the intelligence or discipline to hang with the best in 3A from the defensive side of the ball. Looks like a peewee league game full of 6 year olds who aren’t smart enough to understand the rules. Loris definitely has some athletes but their coaching is so bad they won’t make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs. A disciplined team will get up big on them and they’ll fold and quit in true Loris Lion fashion. Nothing like watching a bunch of mentally weak kids rely solely on talent and quit when it gets tough. It’ll happen again this year to them.
Dillon wins the region, Marlboro second…Loris third or may fold after losing to them and lose to Aynor too whose athletes won’t even be 1/10 as good but will play with their brains, be disciplined, and are always well coached. Loris is the most talented in the region but doesn’t have it above the shoulders. Imagine being paid to coach a group of athletes this talented and not being able to get them to do the fundamentals right much less play disciplined hard nosed and smart football.

Re: Loris Defense is a Joke
They have given up 20 points in four games counting tonight and recorded two shutouts. Not sure giving up an average of 5.0 ppg would be my definition of a "joke" defensively but that's just me.PeeDeeFootballFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 9:09 pmWatching Loris play against a bad NMB team and the Loris defense is terrible. The teams they have played are terrible…like as in bad JV level terrible and that includes NMB. It’s classic hype and they will completely be exposed by good programs with smart coaching because they are simply built on athleticism. They won in dominant fashion, but that was not good defense or good football tonight at all.Wolverine_Legend wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 10:45 pmThey have given up 20 points in four games counting tonight and recorded two shutouts. Loris will be fine they’ll fix all that jumping off sides. I predict they’ll actually win the region championship. Just my opinion.

Dillon is a very good team, as is Marlboro County. I wont respond to the Aynor comment because it shows how clueless you are. I just don't understand smearing a team like you did. Maybe from a rivalry team of Loris, but outside of that, there'sno reason. Speaks volumes about your character, dude! Best of luck to your team this season!

Re: Loris Defense is ...
Couple things…I know Aynor isn’t athletic, or good at football really. However they play disciplined, so lets ya know how good (or not good) I think Loris actually is. Anyways, I think it’s funny that you think character is indicated by saying you think a team isn’t good at football. I think Loris isn’t good at football, therefore I have bad character. I think you are a character. It’s cute that your feelings got that hurt. I doubt Loris has any rivals. Usually rivalries don’t develop unless things are competitive. Good luck to the Lions. I just think they’ll blow it against any decent team based on what I saw. They believe the hype and athleticism alone won’t get it done in the playoffs. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.Lion4life wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:49 pmDillon is a very good team, as is Marlboro County.
