It all about how you coach them players. Look at Dutch Fork and Westside before Tom Knotts and Brian Lane got there. The were decent but not championship caliber teams.

I think Lane at Westside is a good coach but last year he had Cutter Woods and 3 receivers that signed with d1 schools .Cutter is a senior this year so I will be surprised if they don’t drop off a lot next year. Coach Lane said a player like Woods does not come along very often.

I don't expect much of a drop off...they have a great feeder from Robert Anderson Middle. Cutter has a younger brother on MS or JV and they say he's pretty good as well.

I doubt they will drop off, unless Coach Lane leaves and take another job somewhere else. Anderson County in general, always have talent players each year.

I'm pulling for Emerald but I don't see them winning this particular game. They turn into Mr. Hyde when they play Greenwood, Dr. Jekyll against everyone else it seems.

Emerald hung in there until the 4th quarter.
They used several different looks on offense
and tried every trick against Wren . The Vikings
defense just could not stop Wren's offense.
The running back for Wren #5 is a good one.
