Chester at Clinton Round 2 Playoffs

Post by Brandon »

Clinton Rolls by Pelion 56-0 and Chester knocks off Strom Thurmond 44-23 to set up this matchup with the Preseason #1 and #2 teams in 2A. Should be a great game. I say Clinton wins 31-21. How do yall think this game will go?

Depends on if Chester can make some explosive plays. If they do, it could be a really close game at the end. If not, Clinton might wear them down and control the game.

I saw Chester as a dark horse to make a run, but Clinton might just be to much for them.

luckily for my rebels, the cyclones were finally fully healthy after have 3 weeks off. :D some kid named feaster had 4 carries for 160+ yards and 3 td's. trooper floyd looked great. apparently there were some olinemen and receivers that had been out but they all came back friday. they physically whooped us in the 4th qtr.

should be a dandy in clinton friday night. i haven't seen clinton this season but they better buckle up their chin straps b/c chester is extremely physical.

I will go with the Red Devils just
because i like them. Got to make
up my mind to go watch Clinton
Abbeville or Greenwood. Don't think
A-town will have any trouble .Both
Clinton and Greenwood should be
good ones.

I saw an interview with Coach Floyd and I think he said this was the first game his full team was able to participate in since game 2, maybe? It's crazy they had a 21 day window. How's that even happen? He said all they did was practice 3 hrs a day and lift weights 5 days a week. That's tough for anyone facing them. This week should be another good one with 2 of my favorite coaches I've been around on the sidelines. If Chester wins they may just take it all.

my thoughts also. winner of this game has to be the favorite to win it all.
