Hearing Jim Sosebee is already in Gaffney? Can any Gaffney poster give insight on what his role is?

WoW ..Thanks! Hmmmmm that is interesting to have a Coach with that much offensive knowledge to not coach anything!

Maybe that’s the plan..give the job to Donnie Ray and give his OC duties to Sosebee ..sounds like the CCSD board way..the good old boy,cheapest way..

Sosebee is a good coach who would be very successful in Gaffney. But I don’t see it happening.

Wasn't he the coach at Crest that beat Gaffney? I think that with the defense that Gaffney plays and the offense that he would bring to Gaffney would make them very hard to beat!

Gaffney play calling on offense seems to be what is keeping that program back from the glory days!

Yes he was. He is an outstanding coach and would be hard to beat at Gaffney. But what happened at Crest? He was a hero there. Then abruptly resigns and doesn’t coach at all? Have never heard any reason as to why he left.

I've said it for months, Sosebee would be my choice for Gaffney, the guy can flat out coach an offense.

the job was posted on monday. a “search comitee” will be formed. applications will be taken until january 3. they want to have a new head coach in place by january.

I heard coach Nickles from Abbeville has applied .Anyone know if this is true. I know he put in for the Greenwood job a few years ago and the Broome job years ago.
