Region One: I'm taking the Westside win as a bad night for Hillcrest, and that Hillcrest will win out, and that Greenwood wins out, leaving Westside and Laurens winner at #3 and the other settles for the #4 spot.
That's the way i'm seeing Region One.
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Two: The comments in the beginning of this thread go into the details, but I'm going with the Rebels this week...
{ yeah, my new name is HOMER }

From a HATER last week for not picking Gaffney, to a HOMER this week picking Byrnes.
I'll post my projections later with Dorman beating Byrnes just to show something different.
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Three: Northwestern, York and flip a coin... This one could go down to week 11 to determine #3 and #4.
Gaffney, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and Clover....hard to predict the order that finish.
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Four: Dutch Fork, and then Spring Valley, no scratch that, they couldnt' beat Blythewood, so I'll buy some Westwood stock this week... and Blythewood sneaks back in at #3 due to that big win over Spring Valley.
Dutch Fork (highest scoring offense in 4A, 46 pts./game) vs. Westwood (the stingiest Defense in 4A, 6.9 pts./game)
Westwood has only given up 48 pts. all year.
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Five: North Augusta, then White Knoll, Lexington, River Bluff all tied for #2 and #3 but only two get automatic bids. Lexington makes it with points, White Knoll and River Bluff { especially River Bluff } need the automatic bids due to "schedule issues".
North Augusta then

White Knoll seems like the only team with a chance to make it interesting...
River Bluff-
"Schedule Issues"...in other words...They played THREE "2A" teams this year. Only one of the "2A" teams looks like they have a chance at a winning record. But i'd give River Bluff a pass since it is their first season.
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Six: Right after I buy into Conway.... oh well. South Florence took a BIG step toward the Region #1 bid and still has a shot at Home Field through to Columbia... still at #3 for now which means a trip to North Augusta would be the only playoff road trip!
Can Socastee and West Florence provide a threat to SF?
West Florence will be trotting out a Shrine Bowl QB against Sumter this week, should be interesting...
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Seven: Goose Creek may like this version of the bracket better than anyone.... but we will get to that in a minute.
Looking like the usual showdown with Stratford.
What happened to Wando last week? I thought that they had improved but then they get shut out by West Ashley..
Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:Region Eight: Well, unless Fort Dorchester gets caught doing something immoral, illegal or just quits, they may have their first Region #1 and OVERALL #1 seed in........ forever?
I think some Lowstate Green Wave fans believe that they did something immoral last week by winning at McKissick Field.
