Congrats on making our weekend of Champions the biggest Joke in the US! I am willing to bet ..told a friend this at the beginning of the week! This will be the biggest point difference in SC History of state games!

How does that make the SCHSL a "joke" and "making our weekend of Champions the biggest Joke in the US!"?

PS: Just for the record, I have my own thoughts about the SCHSL in general, but that is outside the scope of asking this question.

The games went about like I expected
Except for BHP .I thought that would
Be a closer game .Maybe it would have
Been closer if there QB had not got hurt.
The Bears defense just could not slow
Down the OC passing game.
The SF - Westside and Irmo - Northwestern
Games Were awesome .

There is plenty of opportunity to be critical of the SCHSL Executives and board members. The matchups in the championship games is not one of them. Out of six games the first two were not close, but the rest were between competitive and epic.

Facilities? There is plenty left to be desired at Dawson stadium. However, compared to Benedict? Not even close. Well done SCHSL. I think we would all like it to be in the best facility in our great state, we don’t have an NFL franchise donating facility use. So we are left with college facilities. USC obviously has no generosity to offer and the other group complains of recruiting advantage. Clemson doesn’t want it and not central. What is the League supposed to do? Somebody figure that out and let us know.

I another thread I said if Oceanside had a good run defense they would win by two scores .. I have not seen them play.
I post I watched BHP vs MVP and to be 100% honest MVP offense scores any points after halftime and you would have had a Charter vs Charter 3a title game!

The SF vs Westside game was an upset. Westside was 3 scores better! SF just capitalized on some veryyyyyyyyyyy bad defense calls and plays ..lets just be honest! Two 4 & and long conversations for TD!

I can't argue with that. I checked the pick'em, it was 100% for Westside.

I was astounded at the 2 point conversion attempt. If you are going to put the ball in the air, and throw into traffic, why would you take the ball out of the hands of your D1, Shrine Bowl QB?

As much credit as I didn't give the wave.thier qb went down. He would have a made a difference. Would they have won ? Offense would have been better for sure.
I'm absolutely sure they would have scored one more TD. He was a heck of a lot more mobile qb than the back up.the back up wasn't a bad qb by any means.
Df was off for DF .was it the ville D that did it? They needed to out score DF .with out JC that was a tall task.you have to be firing 100% to beat TK .
The other team that lost their qb may have faired better aswell.
I thought it was evenly matched for the most part.injuries happen and are part of the game.
No way you can account for that.
