I think the list on the left is correct. I know there was a big discrepancy in Bluffton's numbers because of some students not counted.

Yalls D2 scenarios look very interesting to me. As much as I dislike Spartanburg I think they could make alot of noise in D2. That D2 bracket alone looks scary to me. So many good teams. I just hope my Rebs continue on that path of winning. We are working on a few kinks, but by the time Dorman rolls around we should play our best game of the season. Kudos to you guys on the board with the stats and charts it's been some very good reading.

The original list put out by SCHSL did not allocate the 9th graders at H.E. McCracken middle school to Bluffton, which put them in the middle of 3A. They never corrected those numbers, if you look at the 2012-13 ADM list on the HSL website right now, Bluffton is #27 in class 3A.

 How dumb is that?

I see all the traffic hitting the website, my stepson owns the server. Less than 20% of the visitors register and about 10% of those post comments on a regular basis. We're okay with folks just hanging out and reading but we always welcome more opinions and comments.

Either way, we're good. We are essentially non-profit, the banner ads pay for the server and domain registration costs. Everyone here is just a high school football fan, there are no paid employees or any "owner" that expects a profit.

Thanks SF! Come Friday night maybe we can get some good chatter a going. These last few games are make it or break it, and I love seeing the playoff scenarios. Plus it's neat seeing all the other posters from around the state. It gets a tad bit old when you've heard the same Byrnes, Gaffney, Spartan High, and Dorman all the time. It's very interesting seeing how teams like North Augusta, The Florence teams, and Fort Dorchester doing so well.

It is the most likely since the one on the right still had James Island and Bluffton in AAA...

We all know there is way too much football to be played for us to be saying who is in and who is out, but on the other hand we have seen enough to know some {I counted 17) are already in and some (5 or 6) are already eliminated. It's just group in the middle that leave us wondering...

Region One:
Hillcrest, Greenwood, Laurens are in
Everyone else is in the middle

Region Two:
Dorman, Byrnes, Spartanburg, Boiling Springs are in
Mauldin and Riverside in the middle
JL Mann, Wade Hampton are out

Region Three
Northwestern and York are in
Everyone else is in the middle because there are two more automatic bids

Region Four
Dutch Fork is in
Everyone else is fighting for the other two automatic bids
Lugoff-Elgin is out

Region Five
North Augusta is in
everyone else is fighting for the other two bids

Region Six
South Florence, Sumter are in
West Florence, Socastee looking at the other automatic bid
Conway and Carolina Forest are likely looking at next year

Region Seven
Goose Creek, Stratford are in
Wando, West Ashley, are likely in as either the third automatic or as an At Large due to points
James Island, Cane Bay are looking for the third automatic with a very slight chance of At Large

Region Eight
Fort Dorchester and Summerville are in
Ashley Ridge, Colleton County, Bluffton looking for the third bid with Ashley Ridge having a very good chance to get an At Large on points if they don't get the 3rd Automatic Bid.

As of right now, if I had to guess where the cut line will be, I'd say that the school at #20 will be the smallest school in the Division One bracket and #21 will be the largest school in Division Two bracket.

Conway is probably looking at next year but saying Sumter is in is a stretch. Sumter is 3-4 and has been blown out 3 weeks in a row. That being said it wouldn't surprise me for them to beat WF Friday. Region 6 has been a mess since Conway and Sumter has been struggling.

This is a great board to talk football. You never have to read all the BS to find the good stuff. The guys running this board do an excellent job.

For region VIII this week will clear up somethings (Or dirty the water some...lol), Summerville is open, Ft. D plays Colleton if Colleton loses to FT then Colleton is 0-2 with Summerville and Bluffton left which makes it hard for them to make the playoffs if they lose either one, Bluffton plays Ashley Ridge if Bluffton wins and then loses the other 3 that makes a 3 way tie for 3rd if AR doesn't win another game. If Ashley Ridge wins that gives them 3rd due to beating Colleton and Bluffton no matter how the last 2 games play out. I don't think Colleton or Bluffton would get an at large bid on points.

The question is for Summerville everyone keeps saying they are in at second place. If Ashley Ridge wins Friday that puts them 2-0 and Playing for at least 2nd on Halloween if Summerville beats Colleton next week. On paper you would say Summerville wins but Summerville is like Ashley Ridge you just don't know who is going to show up. Defense might play great and offense struggle, Offense play good and defense struggles. To me if Ashley Ridge wins Friday the Summerville VS Ashley Ridge game means more for how others will be seeded, If I am correct 2nd place in the region gets a first round home game which would mean there would be a few teams seeded different wouldn't it? I agree I think Ashley Ridge has enough points now to get an At-Large bid after last weeks win. If my math is correct and based off what I am seeing If Wando or West Ashley have a winning record thats an extra 1/2 point, but if AR were to lose out the next 3 I have them with 32.5 points (Giving Summerville 6 wins, Either Wando or WA ending up with 6 wins and FT already having a winning record) and 32 points if neither Wando or WA have a winning record.
Those of you who know this point/seeding better then me can hopefully clarify
