spoke to a coaching buddy and he said we will be lucky to ever play the first game. He said each team has kids already in quarantine. Schools have been open between 2 days and a week and this is going on.

Send kids home and postpone fb before it is too late.
Tennessee qnd various other states are doing fine .played 2 games already.
Shoukd be no problem
Middle TN (Metro Nashville) has not played any games yet. They have been forced to forfeit the past two weeks' games and the coaches are upset. They (the coaches) have offered up a proposal this week on how they believe they can play but it has not been approved. I went to school at Overton in Nashville growing up and know quite a few people still there that have grandkids playing. That is the word plus a friend Mike Organ who is a sportswriter for the Tennessean newspaper keeps me updated on my old school. Just a little bit of info. I will acknowledge that the other parts of the state are playing fine if it will stop raining on Friday night. They have had bad storms the past two weeks coming through TN and games have been postpone and played on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Watched trinity beat knoxvill catholic or something sat.

Its not a one size fits all .but we are and Berkeley also practicing with no problems.
Well except for this heat in the afternoons .crazy hot.

I watched the great Summitt vs Independence game two weeks ago. The QB at Summitt is a family friend. His brother is a 4 star LB and only a junior. Check out Destin and Keaten Wade. Keaten is sidelined currently with foot surgery but was pre-season All-State 1st Team Linebacker.
Both are Juniors with lots of offers.

I was cautiously optimistic we could make it thru a shortened season, but now I'm not so sure. Abbeville has already had a flurry of schedule changes and we haven't even made it to the first official game yet. Seems like everyday another team on the schedule has an outbreak or has to go into quarantine. So far Crescent and Liberty are out of commission. The situation is changing everyday so it's hard to make any concrete adjustments to the schedule that you can count on. Even if we play all the games I'm concerned with the lack of continuity from playing one week to maybe not playing the next week and so on.
